IBM announced the winners of its sixth New Zealand business partner awards at a celebration in Auckland last night.
Gen-i took home three awards, including best co-marketing, which recognised campaigns based on impact, creativity, clarity of the message and measurable return.
More than 150 people gathered at the Maritime Museum on the Auckland waterfront for the well-paced evening, run smoothly by the night’s MC, Candace Kinser, CEO of NZICT. The IBM awards continue to be run in association with Reseller News.
Gen-i was also recognised as System Storage Business Partner of the Year and System x Business Partner of the Year, awards based on revenue, ease of doing business with IBM, year on year growth, and other metrics.
But the evening ultimately belonged to Certus Solutions, which took top prize in IBM’s Smart Work category and went on to be presented with the Supreme Winner award by IBM managing director Jennifer Moxon.
Eagle Technology went home with two wins, one for Cloud Business Partner of the Year, and a bigger score in the Smarter Computing category.
CDP took home the Smarter Analytics award for a project that helped its client reduce CO2 emissions.
Dimension Data, which was nominated for several awards, won Power Business Partner of the Year, and Cortell, which was also a strong contender, took home the Software Business Partner of the Year award.
More details about winners and their projects will appear in the October 26 issue of Reseller News, along with photos from the evening.
