Shaun Rendell joins Kordia

Former Renaissance CEO is Kordia's new CFO

By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Friday, 17 August 2012

A day after the announcement that Shaun Rendell had stepped down as Renaissance's acting CEO, Kordia has announced his appointment as the company's new chief financial officer.

“We are extremely pleased to have Shaun on board,” says Geoff Hunt, Kordia's CEO. “Our business has transformed dramatically in the past five years and is now strongly telco-orientated. Shaun’s appointment will help us continue to evolve in that direction,” he says.

This is not Rendell's first role in the telco space, having held senior roles in the industry both in New Zealand and the UK in the past. He started his career with British Telecom and O2 in the late 1990s.

Rendell will leave Renaissance on August 31 and start his new role with Kordia on September 3, replacing utgoing executive Roger Jarrold who left the role mid-July to join Downer New Zealand Ltd as its new CFO.
