Partners take honors at Sydney Symantec conference
Gen-i wins New Zealand prize in 2011 Pacific Partner Awards
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 13 September 2011Symantec announced the recipients of its 2011 Pacific Partner Awards at its user conference, Symantec Vision, in Sydney today.
According to a statement released by the security and management software company, the awards "recognise channel partners that have demonstrated innovative delivery of services and solutions".
Symantec says the winners were selected on overall performance in revenue, deal registration, technical and marketing investments, customer service excellence and the achievement of Symantec Specialisation.
Gen-i was named the Specialised Growth Partner of the Year for New Zealand.
The other winners were Datastor, Pacific Distributor of the Year; Dell for SMB Partner of the Year in Pacific; Data#3 for Specialised Partner of the Year in Pacific; Specialised Growth Partner of the Year for Australia, Fujitsu; and Specialised Services Partner of the Year in Pacific, Thomas Duryea.
“These awards acknowledge the achievements of our partners over the past 12 months and we hope this recognition nurtures and promotes continued excellence in the channel," says David Dzienciol, vice president, Channels and SMB for APAC and Japan, according to the statement. "We congratulate all the winners of our Partner Awards this year,” said Dzienciol.
