Michael Webster from IT Solutions 2000 receives coveted certification
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 06 December 2011Michael Webster, director of IT Solutions 2000, has earned VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) certification, the company has announced.
With this certification, Webster now belongs to a group of architects leading virtualisation and cloud infrastructure implementations around the world.
He also achieved both the VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Datacentre Design (VCAP-DCD) and the VMware Certified Advanced Professional – Datacentre Administration (VCAP-DCA) certifications.
“IT Solutions 2000 Ltd and Michael Webster have proven to the VMware certification evaluation board that they both are more than qualified to design and architect a datacentre infrastructure based on the VMware platform,” says Chris Cottam, senior director, global education, VMware.
“It is a great honour to receive this recognition for earning the distinguished VCDX certification, in New Zealand,” says Webster. “To become part of a small and elite group of architects from around the world that have clearly demonstrated an ability to design and implement enterprise virtualisation solutions on the VMware platform is an outstanding achievement. This demonstrates once again that New Zealand has world leaders in the IT and technology fields.”
