Neich secures regional network optimisation role

Becomes Oceania director for Silver Peak Systems

Wayne Neich, who established the Australia/New Zealand business of networking vendor Blue Coat, has become the Oceania regional director for Silver Peak Systems.

Silver Peak is headquartered in the US and according to Linkedin.com, Neich will be responsible for setting up the business in New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.

Neich opened Blue Coat’s Sydney office in 2005, spending four years with the company. He was replaced as ANZ general manager last year by former SAP Business Objects trans-Tasman general manager Rajeev Mitroo.
