Mobile Mentor partners with AirWatch
NZ mobile management service provider expands across Tasman
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Thursday, 08 September 2011Enterprise device management company Mobile Mentor has partnered with security software vendor AirWatch to provide a new mobile device management service.
According to a statement released by Mobile Mentor, an Auckland-based company, the service will provide mobile device management and security for enterprises in New Zealand and Australia.
The company states the service is being launched in response to demand and the increasingly common consumerisation of IT.
Mobile Mentor is using AirWatch’s software "to deliver MDM-as-a-service across all compatible
smartphones and tablets" for its customers, according to the statement. Mobile Mentor helps clients develop their mobile policy, and manages their "mobile fleet" according to
that policy. It will also integrate AirWatch’s roaming cost alerts into its own Mobile
Expense Management Service.
