Laser goes with Synnex

Vendor adds distributor in New Zealand

By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 28 February 2012

Laser Corporation has appointed Synnex to distribute its entire product portfolio in New Zealand, in addition to Ingram Micro which was already distributing the vendor's products here.

Laser, which is this year celebrating its 25th anniversary, is plotting a growth strategy in the country, of which this new appointment is part.

“Laser has steadily progressed in New Zealand creating the need for a distributor that can deliver our product range nationally to retailers and resellers. Laser is aligned with the way Synnex conducts its business – we are happy to be able to further our partnership and confident that Synnex will continue to deliver quality service to Laser customers," says Tyler Smith, Laser New Zealand's country manager.

Synnex' NZ country manager Richard Harri belives the partnership between the two companies will "result in good synergy".

"Laser is a leading challenger brand providing a value alternative to the premium brands, making them popular with our national retail customers," he says. "We look forward to helping Laser meet and maintain demand while providing a stable platform for continued growth within the New Zealand market."
