Gen-i has announced the launch of its enhanced ReadyCloud Server, a virtual compute and storage product, part of its ReadyCloud Services suite of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions.
“ReadyCloud Server now provides a self-service portal that enables clients to easily manage their virtual data centres and flexible pricing bundles so clients only pay for what they need to meet fluctuating business demands. Clients can focus on their core business while benefiting from the increased efficiency, productivity and excellent value that our cloud solution enables,” says Leanne Buer, Gen-i head of Networked ICT Products.
According to Buer, the rollout of new mobile and fibre networks across the country as raised interest in the company's ReadyCloud solutions.
“ReadyCloud Server is hosted locally in a world class datacentre, which is co-located in Telecom’s Auckland Exchange building, providing clients with the assurance that their infrastructure is resilient, reliable and secure, and supported by staff here in New Zealand,” she adds.
Greg Mikkelsen, acting CEO of Gen-i Australasia, says cloud enablement will generate further growth opportunities for New Zealand businesses. “Our clients look to us to reduce the complexity of IT integration and deliver real benefit for business. We’re committed to delivering tailored ICT solutions that provide clients with end to end value that they can trust.”
