Westcon Group NZ becomes first distributor with VCE System Architect certification
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Friday, 05 October 2012Westcon became the first distributor in New Zealand with a staff member to achieve the VCE Vblock system architecture course.
Pre-sales consultant Ivan Pecirov is the first certified architect for the 'intelligent converged infrastructure systems' after completing recent training in Singapore, according to a Westcon statement.
VCE is a company established by Cisco, EMC, VMware and Intel to bundle and support a scalable infrastructure system using the vendors' technologies, branded as Vblock Systems, with an integrated management suite.
Westcon states that Pecirov is one of the architects behind the distributor's vCube package, a similar bundling of technologies targeting SMB customers.
