Finalists announced in IBM Business Partner Awards
Category and other winners to be announced at October 18 presentation
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 25 September 2012Judging has closed on the sixth IBM New Zealand Business Partner Awards. Officials at IBM would not disclose how many entries there were for this year's competition in four categories, but Reseller News has been told that there were more entries this year than in the last competition.
The four categories this year are Smarter Analytics, Smarter Computing, Smart Work and Best Co-Marketing.
For the technology categories, judges looked for solutions that leveraged all of the data in an enterprise, that optimised systems for workloads and managed IT infrastructure in a much more virtualised and cloud-like fashion, for improved economics and performance.
The co-marketing entries were judged on impact, creativity, the clarity of an offer presented by an IBM partner, and a measurable return.
The finalists are:
Smarter Analytics:
Altis
CDP
Cortell
Crossware
Smarter Computing:
Certus
Datec Fiji Ltd
Dimension Data
Eagle
ViFX
Smart Work:
Certus
Cortell
Cyclone
Gen-i
ViFX
Best Co-Marketing:
Dimension Data (two entries)
Gen-i
OSS
Congratulations to all the finalists. Category and other award winners will be announced at a gala evening on October 18 in Auckland.
