Exeed takes on two new vendors
Distributor picks up Fusion-io and Ruckus
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 03 July 2012Exeed this week has announced deals with two new vendors, application accelerator provider Fusion-io and wifi vendor Ruckus Wireless.
“Fusion-io complements our HP infrastructure solution offerings and broadens our reach into the IBM, Cisco and Dell customer base,” says Justin Tye, managing director at Exeed. “Fusion-io is the market leader in high performance flash memory solutions that rapidly deliver ROI. We believe there is strong demand across key industries such as finance, cloud hosting, retail, media and entertainment and in the public sector for these products, and are looking forward to working with our reseller partners to uncover potential applications for this technology," he adds.
Simon Williams, sales director of Fusion-io Australia & New Zealand believes Exeed has "a great network of resellers selling infrastructure solutions in the New Zealand market". "We are impressed by the technical knowledge of the Exeed team and look forward to working closely with them as they will help us to reach more companies that can accelerate their business with powerful solutions designed to meet the challenges IT experts face today.”
Exeed will distribute the Ruckus range of products to the New Zealand market, joining incumbent distributor Connector Systems.
“Ruckus has a channel friendly business model that simplifies the selling process for partners,” Tye says, in a statement released today.
Ruckus manufactures and markets wifi systems for service providers and enterprises.
“Exeed has proven, strong relationships with resellers working within the markets that are growing strongly for us across the world," says Ruckus ANZ country manager Carl Jefferys in the statement. Jeffreys says these verticals include the hospitality, health and logistics markets.

You may find that the company is not fully Kiwi owned, there is either a majority or substantial Australian ownership. However, they are a good company and well done to them.

Great to have Exeed distributing Ruckus in NZ. At least we won't find them selling it directly into our accounts. Good work Justin and team.

exeed is the only distribution company in NZ that seems to be expanding its reach while others are losing vendors and shipping jobs off shore. Its great to see a kiwi owned company sticking to what it does best and looking after its customers and vendors. They are great team to deal with right from the 2 Simons through to the guys in the warehouse. Keep up the good work guys!
