Dell appoints ANZ GM

Pete Murphy to lead ANZ channel operations

Dell has appointed Peter Murphy to the role of general manager for its commercial channel business in the ANZ region.

Murphy, who will be based in Melbourne, was previously director of Dell's public sector division for Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. He has held a number of different rolls at Dell over the past 12 years in Australia and the UK.

The new channel GM will be responsible for the company's PartnerDirect programme.

“I have worked with Dell for more than a decade and have a comprehensive understanding of our channel partners, their priorities and customers’ needs. I am looking forward to meeting with partners in the coming weeks to further investigate how Dell can help grow their businesses, win in the data centre and remain a stable and long-term business partner,” he says.
