AVG announces Reseller Knowledge Programme
Technical training sessions will keep resellers up to date with AVG products
By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Friday, 06 July 2012AVG has announced a new Technical Training Series to keep resellers up to date on products and reinforce their position as trusted advisors on online security issues.
The programme is a series of six modules covering online security and protection advice for business and consumer customers, along with technical tools and streamlined account administration. Each module runs twice in a month so both current and new resellers are able to join the programme at any time.
“Our significant investment in this innovative training programme is a prime example of AVG (AU/NZ)’s drive to overlay AVG’s global expertise in the dynamic online protection field with the business needs of our local resellers," says Michael Dowling, corporate sales director at AVG ANZ.
“The focus of all our channel programmes is to ensure local resellers stand out from the crowd by being the most competent in this marketplace and being able to profitably and successfully meet their customers’ needs.”
The program is conducted by Liz Kipp, training and business product specialist, who developed the content based on surveys and feedback from resellers. “The continuing, number one requirement from our resellers is for easy access to the latest knowledge on AVG’s robust security solutions. We are always looking to offer new and effective ways to build their businesses and customer relationship capabilities. The interactive webinars ensure participation is relevant and meaningful for all,” she says.
