Auldhouse to offer IPv6 training

Courses for managers, professionals and engineers

By Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Wednesday, 16 February 2011

IT training provider Auldhouse will offer several courses in IPv6, the standard and heir apparent to IPv4, the current Internet Protocol.

The firm has slated three courses to begin in March including an overview for Managers wanting to have a better understanding of what their organisation needs to transition to IPv6, to an advanced design and deployment course suited to network engineers who need to understand how to configure and support devices on the next generation internet protocol.

Auldhouse has been working with New Zealand’s IPv6 task force on transition matters. The training firm developed its curriculum following a January meeting with the task force.

Classes include a half-day session for managers or anyone involved in the transition, a three-day course for IT professionals that want to upgrade their skills and a five-day course for Cisco Engineers.
