Australian IT services company Identity Solutions has branched into New Zealand, with industry veteran Gary Colquhoun-Petherick at the helm.

Colquhoun-Petherick has made the switch from being enterprise account manager at BMC Software, to become country manager for Identity Solutions. It will be the second local implementation partner for the vendor alongside Planwell Technology.

In his role, he will oversee local customer acquisition and business expansion, focusing on the sale and deployment of BMC systems and performance management technology, Identity Solutions says.

Established in 1999, Identity Solutions already has three branches in Australia and the Auckland office is its first offshore operation.

The company is also an IBM partner, specialising in IT infrastructure and performance and service management.

Colquhoun-Petherick has more than 25 years’ IT industry experience, including senior sales and client management roles with Axon, Oracle and Telecom.
