Recruitment company Hudson's most recent quarter survey on hiring expectations show the IT industry is increasingly bullish about taking on personnel.

The sector was out in front of other sectors, such as professional services, manufacturing, retail, construction/property/engineering and government, in its perception of recruitment expectations. Government investment in large ERP systems was expected to be a particular contributor to recruitment, while employers are said to be starting on the path to reshaping their companies for growth after managing firms carefully during the recession.

But how is the channel industry faring? Does your company expect to hire more staff in the next three months, or is the downturn still affecting personnel levels?

You might have particular roles to fill in technical or sales, or be relying on contractors rather than permanent staff.
