Takes out three categories including supreme business excellenceBy Reseller News Staff, Auckland | Tuesday, 01 September 2009
Distributor Ingram Micro took supreme honours at the North Shore Business Excellence Awards this week.
Not only did the company walk away with the Westpac supreme business excellence award for 2009 but it also received the Smales Farm excellence in sustainability and the Smith and Davies employer of choice categories. This was the first time the distributor had won the supreme award.
The event is designed to celebrate business success in North Shore city and has run for 12 years.
According to the judges, Ingram Micro stood out due to its commitment to sustainability, employment practices and health and safety.
“We were particularly impressed with Ingram Micro’s environmental consideration in their EcoBuilding; their immense employee support systems and their strong ‘give back’ ethic to society,” says convenor of judges, Matthew Bellingham.
